Saxby 50005 Heatguard Medium allow you to use recessed fittings that are not fire rated, and restore the integrity of ceilings required by British Standards and building regulations.

With the increased use of downlights in ceilings, the integrity of the plasterboard and suspended ceilings is severely reduced. Intumescent downlight hoods restore the integrity required by British Standards and building regulations. 

The fireguards can be easily installed from below or above the ceiling and are certified to British Standards for all types of ceiling. This item can be used with most of our downlights.
